Terms and Conditions of Use (the “Ts&Cs”)

The guys, and gals, at Those Media Guys Limited would like to thank you, our potential customers and viewing public for visiting our site:- www.thosemediaguys.com (the “Site”). We hope you enjoy it and get to learn a bit more about what we do.

However, we can’t just let you use the Site any which way you please, and so by accessing our Site you are deemed to accept these Ts&Cs. If you have any queries, questions, concerns about the Site, or us, then just email us at info@thosemediaguys.com and we’ll try and sort it out. If you don’t accept these Ts&Cs then you shouldn’t use the Site and should leave IMMEDIATELY...go…quick….goodbye. We also have a Disclaimer and Privacy Statement which you should also read, as these contain important legal information which our legal types in the upstairs office would like to draw your attention to.

So here’s the rules by which you agree to use this Site:-

Intellectual property - this is important to us. We are a media company, and therefore our only assets are what we make i.e. films, audio, graphics etc. With the exception of the trade marks of our clients in our Client List (which you should take a peek at) any trade mark, design right, copyright or other intellectual property contained in or relating to this Site is, unless otherwise stated, the property of Those Media Guys.

The design and content of this Site are copyright © Those Media Guys Limited (unless otherwise stated). This includes any text, scripts, applets, static/animated images, graphics and video clips. Therefore you can’t copy, reproduce, republish, download, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public, or otherwise use the Site content, for money. Neither can you adapt, alter or create a derivative work from the stuff you’ve taken off our Site, for money. This is illegal and not very nice, how else are we supposed to earn a living from this gig?

We do of course want you to enjoy our work and therefore you can use the Site content for your own personal, non-commercial use ONLY. In the interests of fairness all round if you do this then we would like an acknowledgement something like “© Those Media Guys Limited 2005” will do.

And if you do want to use some of the stuff on our Site for a commercial purpose then contact us, and maybe we can do business, we’ll get our briefs to put together a written licence.

This Site may contain links to other websites and they may link to us, wow! This is part of the joy of the internet. But we can’t regulate the internet, and therefore we cannot accept any liability for the information contained on external sites that you visit from ours. If you want to link to us then please link to our home page www.thosemediaguys.com, no deep linking and no framing! It would also be preferable if you asked us first (it’s only polite) by email to info@thosemediaguys.com

As the world goes forward and time progresses things change. We might have to update or modify these Ts &Cs with it. Any changes will be posted on the Site, where else?

And finally, these Ts&Cs are governed and shall be construed by the law of Scotland, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Scotland…cause that’s where the company lives.
